The best Bracken release so far. This is not trying, like We Know About The Need, to kill the past (read Hood) with some new / radical approach. A natural evolution in sound.
Sometimes eerie, melancholy & gloomy, athmospheric, rural and terribly contemporary at the same time, if not already coming from the near future, as per the brothers long tradition.
The description given, also here on Discogs, about its origin, got me afraid to listen to something totally conceptual, possibly a scratched vinyl with some shadows of songs... on top I didnt like We Know at all but the result is far from it: simply a beautiful post Hood album.
One of those occasions when youre happy to be a completist.
A must if you ask me.
