The song A Hardcore State Of Mind was played at the end of 2003 en begin of 2004 a lot of times on the musicchannel the box in the Netherlands. It became a couple of weeks the most requested song and stood on number one of the box charts. Because there was a hardcore revival in 2003, a lot of old happy hardcore videoclips played that time on the box and TMF in the Netherlands. A lot of people thought he still produce this kind of music or ask if he ever gonna make a happy hardcore number again. There was also released a megamix with al the happy hardcore hits on it. Paul Elstak don't like this at all! That's why he made a videoclip of it, to show everybody what he was doing now.
