DJ Wag - Life On Mars - 24-May-08 11:29 AM
The Steve Hill vs D10 remix just shows what a tremendous amount of producer skills Darren Jones has. It's dark, deep, and with a murderous stomping bassline and kick.
Following a typical Dj Scot Project layout, the track is like a steam engine without any brake systems on it, and is sure to wreck a dancefloor like an A-bomb warhead put on a good old V2 missle...
Also the little filthy twists in the percs and synths add to the mayhem here. It is put together in such a mint way, it makes me oblivious to the original mixes, which were both pretty bad ass to begin with. 5/5!
Without A Doubt - Don't Speak - 11-Nov-06 10:44 AM
This release hasn't got any credits on it, since the maker of this record (Dj E-Rush) used the samples on the a-side without the permission of No Doubt. What's even worse, is that the B2 song, Scream was produced by me, I gave E-Rush a demo in 1996, he told me it was crap, but he added the "It's only a dream" sample to my version and a few months later I found out he released it when i was listening to it in my local recordstore... I was really not very happy... Thanx E-Rush, for being so kind..
