Various - The Braindance Coincidence - 22-Apr-04 07:29 AM
You simply must own this album, the definitive album to describe braindance. Theres maybe one or two tracks that sink below the rest, but I can't think of them! You can pick this up new for around a fiver and I imagine a lot of you have, if you havnt DO IT NOW!! A lot better than Rephlexions! Simply an electronic classic.

Various - Advanced Listening Opportunity - 22-Apr-04 07:14 AM
This is a half decent sampler, including an aphex twin remix, an appauling track by LFO and a not much better one from Nightmares on Wax. The real beauties on this album are the 'Plaid' and 'Chris Clark' tracks. Miamivice is one of my favourite Plaid songs, and I dont think it was released on album (someone message me if im wrong!) This track is absolutely incredible! If you picked this up for free/£3 when it first cane out, its a right bargain.

Chris Morris - Blue Jam - 22-Apr-04 06:52 AM
An awesome comedy CD for the open-minded among you. Combines sketches seen on Channel 4's "Jam", and many others with a soundtrack by Warp records (and other electronica labels.) Sometimes hilarious, occasionally disturbing. (Just like all other Chris Morris' work then!)

Emotional Joystick - Bellicose Pacific - 21-Apr-04 06:08 PM
Emotional Joystick is the artist that has impressed me most since I started buying electronica. I know Aphex, Squarepusher and Bogdan etc are the masters, but theres something about the production of Thomas Wincek's work that stands out. You have to listen to it to believe it. Track one of this album is all you need to hear. BUY IT!

Player (2) - Angel Of Theft - 21-Apr-04 09:20 AM
This is an awesome track, if anyone went to 2003's Leeds or Reading festival's and saw Amon Tobin, you will remember this as his finale track. A drill 'n' bass remix of Slayer's "Angel of Death" this a mental song, I suggest you grab a copy if you can find one, (limited to 400).
