Another quality techno track from Sten aka Lawrence. This time it's a less dreamy but still quite eerie production. With all its deepness it never looses dance power and plays well at 4 in the morning. I had some strange feeling since I got this record that the music reminds me something I'd heard before...I would say that the bassline of this track bears striking similarities to a classic Green Velvet production with the same title.

Really love this 12" for its various sonic qualities. Original version of the main track here sounds like some dope future minimal r'n'b with great performance from Raz Ohara. Then Mike Shannon creates glitchy delay blissfulness on his version. On the flip B1 kicks off quite minimal to reach it's peak with cold and delicate chords which make me wanna rave 'till 8 in the morning. In the last track The Mole cuts everything up a bit. Four good tracks make it a winner for me.

Kranky has been my favourite record label ever since I had chance to hear Labradford's Prazision LP.I don't know of any other more beautiful collection of intimate music.Most of the artist here record some dreamy ambient soundscapes or delicate post noise experiments.Lovers of drone minimalism should find some new favourites among kranky's stable too.
