2001* - The Sound Of Planet Earth - Amsterdam's Most Talented Vol. 1 - 20-Nov-03 08:32 PM
Lonesome Acid has what could be one of the best/worst cheesy Euro MC raps on it ever!! But such is the feelgood sound of the acid, you dont care! On a more serious tip, Fallout is classic, total 303+808 electro workout - the secrets out...

UR* - Codebreaker - 30-Jul-03 02:26 PM
Oh yeah, the A side is one of THE funkiest UR numbers ever! Killer deep acidic bassline gives way to shuffled hihats, then the drop - extreme rushy arpeggios...you know its gonna be a good one, and it JUST GETS BETTER! One of those UR ones you kinda feel must be Mad Mike, a unique mix of melodic sense, funky rhythms, but also a melancholy pervading the whole track. Hes just so free on this, the solos in the middle are never overdone, just enough to let you know what hes feeling. Could not be anyone else EVER. If you buy one UR record, make it this.

UR* - Electronic Warfare (The Mixes) - 30-Jul-03 02:19 PM
Yeah, but dont forget about the original, a dancefloor bomb! Also the Dresciya mix takes things down to around 115bpm, a nice and easy tempo from which to mess up your mind!! No...programming....

Joe Louis* - Netherlands EP - 30-Jul-03 12:42 PM
Oh my, this is a great record. As pure a slice of Detroit melodics as you can wish for, partnered with hefty doses of extra funky Roland percussion and deep sub-bass. Buy on sight.

Mr. De' - Superugly - 30-Jul-03 12:34 PM
Ha ha, this is FUNKY! Wicked beats intro, funky percussion, then into a real funky-ass bassline. If you dont stand up and do some kind of funny wiggle-hips movement as soon as you hear it, I officially declare you dead. Oh, the Funk Piano mix has NOTHING to do with pianos, well, maybe extremely distorted ones! A funky 4/4 UR-style techno jam that will also make you dance.
