An almost great selection of Ulrich Schnauss remix works, but wait... there are quite a few essential remixes left out on here, for example: Asobi Seksu - Strawberries (Ulrich Schnauss Remix)? and Madrid - Out to sea (Ulrich Schnauss Remix)? Also, just to make the remix album complete they should of added the Robin Gutherie's remixes of Ulrich's songs as a bonus. If they had done that, then this compilation would of been without a doubt essential but it slightly fails unfortunately.

This is not like the usual electronic FSOL as we know them. "The Isness" was a total shock and surprise in musical direction turning "Cosmic" in to a music genre! AA have been inspired to create an album to near perfection which took 5 years to create. Influenced by everything "cosmic", from Prog Rock, Psychedelia to Folk with a spiritual type feel. AA even got Donovan to write them some folk poetry on their album! Everything about this album is different from their past works, from proper instruments, singing, and there are even gaps between songs! I love all the tracks on this album, but the one's that stand out are "Divinity" with charming feel good lyrics to the far out "The Galaxial Pharmaceutical". "The Isness" is an album which opens not only your mind but your heart aswell. Amazing!!

This album is one of the all time best!! This is so under rated!! People say The Smiths in the 80s, but personally Talk Talk are better musically!! All the tracks on here are excellent especially "Happiness is easy" and of course "Lifes what you make it". I go as far to say that this should be in everyones Top Ten albums of all time!! Compliments do not come much higher than that!!

If you ask me, this album has got to the best album of all time!! Syd Barrett influenced everyone from the Beatles to Radiohead and everything else in between!! This is very pioneering and still is today mainly because of the sounds that are used! Everything else is just second best! You can't top this album, its perfection and plus it would be impossible!! There isn't a bad track on this album, there all brilliant!!! 100 out of 10!!!

Easily one of the best albums of all time!! The packaging and cover is also one the best! Even the t-shirt from the album glows in the dark!! All the tracks are excellent. Including "The Individual, "I think i'm in love" and the epic "Cop shoot cop" This has to be one of the best and deepest love albums out there but in an alternative way! This is a must have, Essential!!!
