Make sure you check my items. All records come from my personal collection.

You may wonder why some records are cheap and some are not. That's because I still want to keep some of them, but would let them go for the price they are listed.

Bad Religion - Into The Unknown - 02-Nov-07 03:57 AM
Here it is: The forgotten Bad Religion album.
It’s never been released on CD! 10.000 copies have been pressed and just some of them have been sold back in 1983. Rumors say all remaining copies have been destroyed. Truth is that most of them went back to the Epitaph warehouse and have been sold to fans by Mr Brett's girlfriend over the years. She just kept a rest of 300.

If you ask fans from back in the days about the music they will tell you it‘s totally crap. In fact the use of uncommon ínstrumentation like synthesizers & acoustic guitars make this album sounding quite untypical for Bad Religion. The first time I heard this I thought I had purchased a Van Halen album.

The major problem was the first album - a hardcore punk milestone! Most of the fans did expect a second "hell" album. But this was one of the few efforts of Bad Religion to develop their style and not (like nowadays) just play slower from album to album. In a time hardcore was getting harder & faster, it was one of the first bands that was looking out for new influences like Alternative Rock.

If you like to get a copy please be aware of bootlegs! Most of them were poorly made and sounding even worse. Some of them have a bluish color aberration. If you want to be sure your copy is an original pressing compare your copy with images here at discogs and probably check the runout groove etchings. For a nice copy with insert expect to pay around 100$ - 200$.

Souls Of Mischief - 93 'Til Infinity - 26-Oct-07 12:24 AM
Beware of bootlegs!

Around 1999 many poorly made UK bootlegs (made from the US original) floated the record shops. It has the same catalognumber, same cover, same label, etc. Sound was poor, cover was a bad copy on a very thin cardboard sleeve. Don't spend much for this crap.

Original copies always have the SRC stamp (a big "S" with lower case "r" & "c" in its curves). If the sleeve still has the original shrink you will find a small round sticker with the hieroglyphics logo on it on the lower back side.

Main Source - Breaking Atoms - 23-Oct-07 06:32 AM
Nowadays several bootlegs exist and there's one official single vinyl repress from 1998 that almost looks the 1st pressing.

If you want to be sure if your copy is the original 1st issue check the following characteristics:
1. 1st pressings will always have the "DMS cg ☮" signature etched in the runout grooves as well as the "HuB" etching.
2. The label of the single vinyl reprint has the same wild pitch logo on white background, but there's a slight difference: 1st pessings have the Main Source logo straight above the center hole, not sideways.
3. I have heard that '98 reissues have a different label adress. Make sure copy will have this Wild Pitch adress on label & sleeve: 231 West 29 Street, NY, NY 1001.
4. A further hint is the front sleeve. Some reprints (not all!) have a blown up photo on the same sized cover. So if the ear of Large Professor is cut off you owe a repress.

Showbiz & A.G. - Soul Clap EP - 23-Jan-06 09:05 PM
Referring to an interview with Showbiz this came out in 1991 and they sold it straight out of their trunk.

Comparing it to the later EP release on London Records, this version contains the original mix of "Soul clap" with different lyrics. You also get an exclusive track called "It's up to you" featuring Lord Finesse and the instrumentals of "Soul clap" & "Giant in the mental".

The original pressing is mad rare - expect to pay more than 200$ at eBay. But a reprint is still available.
