Dimbiman - Köppchen - 12-Jan-04 04:13 AM
Perlon is a brilliant label & this release lives up to the reputation. But, for my money the Herbert D-D-D Dazzle Dub is the one, jacking, odd-ball, hitting a drainpipe bassline madness!

Kenny Hawkes & Louise Carver - Play The Game (Berlin & Paris Remixes) - 12-Dec-03 01:06 AM
Wow, how good is this record, I was always a fan of both the original and the accompanying dub, but Phil Weeks Robsoul mixes are the icing on the cake. As usual Phil gets heavy with a 303, but injects a LARGE amount of phunk into the mix. Ill be paying this out well into next year.....

Michael Mayer - Fabric 13 - 05-Dec-03 12:52 AM
Easily the best fabric mix so far, when I first put this on I wa amazing and the style and grace of the mix, technically this wont blow you away, but that is not the point is it? MM has opened my ears to a lot of German labels that I had never heard of before. If you dislike the hegmony of commerical dance music, then you should buy this.

Doc Martin - Fabric 10 - 04-Dec-03 07:43 AM
A good mix here by the Doc, covering deep house with the dub and tribal elements that they love on the west coast of the USA. The only tune that personally I dislike is track 14, but that is because I dont enjoy five minute sax solos, a minor grudge tho.

Terry Francis - Fabric 02 - 21-Oct-03 01:34 AM
A very good mix CD. Terry shows a wealth of knowledge within these 70 minutes, starting with excellent electronica from Norken moving to the excellent deep tech house of Haris & Stubbs my love. Well worth checking out. Apparently Terry didnt plan this mix.... he did it on the spur. PS well worth going to the fabric website checking his radio mix (which I think is better....)
