Time Warp (2) - A Feeling I Know - 19-Oct-07 07:06 AM
I love this record. Its instantly recognisable due to those thumping wildpitch drums DJ Pierre is famous for! The tracks sets into a nice groove as the drums and bassline build up and then about halfway through the vocal starts to tease itself in..."i know i know a feeling that i know". Groove on is a very apt label for this release as its relentless and you certainly can get your groove on to it! Imagine 5am in a dark warehouse somewhere in Chicago and youre almost there.

Martin Venetjoki Feat. Derek Conyer - Really Don't Stop - 16-Oct-07 11:46 AM
I cant really beleive nobody has given this track a mention before. Firstly its all about the Lawnchair Generals Mix and that mix only. An absoloute stormer that will have you funning back to the dancefloor when youre halfway through a piss. Driving beats, deep cords, nice cut up vocal sample all leading into what is probably the best breakdown on a modern house record, atmospheric hands in the air sing along stylee and then it kicks back in with a typical Lawnchair Generals "Truth" style bassline. I think it summed it all up to mewhen I heard Danny Krivit play this. At first I was shocked as I didnt think it was something he would be into being an absolote legend and music aficianado but then I realised that this is just good music and thats what Danny is all about.

Get F**ked* - Wet Dreams - 12-Oct-07 08:51 AM
Love this album! Laced with driving fast beats, deep grooves and chords and quirky keys. This is the kind of stuff Terry Francis etc would have been all over and im sure many Get Fucked tracks are present in any Wiggle/Fabric night. Its all about those compressed punchy kicks that just sound so crisp on a good system. You can really rave to this kind of music, head down at the front, bottle of water in your back pocket and not a worry in the world. Magic.

Pépé Bradock & Grand Brûlé's Choir, The - Burning - 12-Oct-07 07:11 AM
If someone said to me that they ripped out all emotion they ever had, love, hate, anger, joy, happiness etc and packaged it up sent it off to the pressing plant and got a record made, I would presume that the end product was "Deep Burnt". I listen to this most days and it never gets boring. I can put this on and sit back, chill out and relax or on the contary I could hear this in a club at 4am whilst dripping with sweat and hanging from the walls, and dance like ive never danced before. This is music.

Dennis Ferrer - Son Of Raw - 12-Oct-07 07:05 AM
This is one of those records that only come around once in a blue moon - especially these days. Raw, stripped, down, deep but yet superbly intricate! When the keys kick in it always gives me a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach, that happens on very few tracks, Pepe Bradock - Deep Burnt is another that does this. An absoloute classic and a must for any house music fan - All together now; "You dont know....You dont know....You dont know"
