Pub - 555 Jun 09, 2007 (edited over 2 years ago)
Pub takes a new direction with his music on this mini-album, sounding more like a soundtrack with classical textural soundscapes. From the opening second "Sundrive" throws layers and layers of warmth at you while feeling very majestic, one might say almost religious. "Betty's Bench" brings us into deeper and darker territories yet without giving you an uncomfortable feeling. "Going Home" might be the highlight of this release, sounding more like the opening track, it captures you from the beginning and wont let you go. During these 7 minutes thoughts and feelings of wonder, overwhelming beauty and an calming acceptence arise. "Afterglow" has a more melancholic sound, as if we are allowed to see, hear, touch, smell someone/something we love one last time again. After the track is over you are thrown back in reality.

This release is right up there with Pub's best work. This is truly timeless music. It's a pity only 100 copies are available but who knows, we might see a rerelease or a new full album filled with heavenly music like this one, I surely hope we do.
B12 - Practopia Jun 01, 2007 (edited over 2 years ago)
Classic B12! I'm glad they opted to properly release B12-15. This EP is right up there with their best work. New Age & Practopia are my favourite tracks here. Both having the beautifull futuristic B12 melodies we have all come to love. The "bonus" track is great too and shows us they have more of this in the vaults of the Epicenter.
After 10 years between the promo and this release, b12 sounds more like music from the future than any other music that is made today.
