Daso - Absinthe EP - 25-Sep-08 05:18 AM
La Fee Verte is the hidden gem in here. Such a hypnotic tune, with great percussion, amazingly deep bassline, and pinches of melodies coming in and out with extremely well combined synths and sounds.

All of that make a wonderful mystic feel, while the percussion gives the tune a great flow.

I always love to hear this in live sets, it makes the best mood for the night. I got this vinyl just for this tune alone and it was worth it.

Aril Brikha - Winter EP - 29-Dec-07 10:05 AM
Been a Aril Brikha fan since his starts, and I cant believe some of the bad comments and low ratings from people considering this release.

This is neo-trance effect full on, but why should it be bad?
Winter is such a deep track, emotive, full of great soundscapes and melody driven. This release is worth buying just for it. The B-Side Berghain is amazing track too, driven by great sequenzed bass sound and with that aril brikha touch of melody and emotion.

One of my favourites of 2007, a massive release and warm reccomendation. That goes for his album Ex Machina that followed this release!

Pryda - Ironman / Madderferrys - 11-Nov-07 06:25 PM
As a DJ i have never seen anything similar to the effect that Madderferrys has on the dancefloors. The main riff of the tune is just so insane, that after a few bars everyone goes nuts, and the beats that go with it are perfect. Love the unusual spacing of hi-hats it gives such a great feel to the tune. The build up is also something to admire, with great introduction to the main melody, then a great bridge with powerful string lines and we get to seventh minute - melody comes back in and it all feels amazing.

Top notch production, one of 2007 highlights

Tiësto* - In Search Of Sunrise 6: Ibiza - 11-Oct-07 04:07 AM
In my opinion tottaly destroyed all competition this year as trance compilations consider. I was not that huge fan of last 2 Isos series, but this one really got me.

First off it brought almost all new tunes, as seeing the tracklist few weeks before most of the people heard 2-3 tunes before.
First CD starts off on a great note, with Contact and Dont Belong which are really deep and beautiful tracks. It ends even better, with awesome productions from Allure, Taxi Girl and Tiesto remix of wonderful Hide and Seek.

Second CD starts off with one of those 3 tunes everyone knew before the release date - Nic Chagalls - What You Need, but the tune fits perfectly. Slighty changed in bpm and genre from the first CD this one offers amazing new tunes from Marcus Schossow, Progression, Tom Cloud and John Dahlback.

Tiesto caught me be suprise on this one, great CD packed with amazing groove and emotion. One of the best of 2007 in my eyes.

Airwave - Trilogique - 09-Feb-07 01:58 PM
A really amazing album.

Three different styles of music, on 3 seperate discs. Airwave. Almost perfection. I was really feeling the 3rd CD(chillout), but the melodic and progressive one are pure perfection.
The opener on disc 1 - Sky Blues is one of the best melodic tracks of 2006, and sets a perfect mood for the rest of the disc one, which is full of amazing melodies, great beats and full attention to details. My favourites on Disc 1 beside Sky Blues are Angelica, Sunday Break, People Just Dont Care and The Promise I Made.

Second Disc is full of great beats, not always a standard 4x4, with deep melodies and basslines, my fav is a collaboration with the progressive master mr.Ozgur Can.

My warmest reccomendations for this one!
