Hypnos - 12-Jul-06 01:56 AM
Hypnos has released some nice New Age Music. But there are also many forgettable ones as well. If you're into lighter New Age ambience then you may want check this label out. I suggest listening to audio files (mp3s) of the CDs you're curious about first before buying.

Free System Projekt - 06-Mar-06 07:28 PM
Free System Projekt creates 1970s styled New Age Music ala Klaus Schulze. I've listened to just about every one of their albums (cds) and they all sound like something I've heard before. When I listen to music and it comes across as an aural rerun then I don't get too excited about it.

Call it New Age or "Berlin School" (New Age Progressive Spacemusic) but it doesn't change the fact that FSP may be trying too hard to sound like something or someone else. It's 2006 and it amazes me how some artists still lack the creativity to strive for a more modern sound. If they would actually tried to try something new then the music would be more interesting than it is.

Hearts Of Space - 19-Feb-06 08:09 PM
Hearts of Space has released several nice New Age albums. The label puts out music similar to the New Age music that the legendary Hearts of Space New Age radio show has played for decades. The quality level for this label is a step above the average New Age music label.

Edgar Froese - 11-Jan-06 01:50 AM
Edgar's solo works and his work with Tangerine Dream has done more to shape the sound of New Age Music than any other artist. The quality of those works has had it's up ands downs but his influence on New Age Music is unmistakable.

Paul Lawler - 12-Oct-05 02:23 PM
Paul Lawler is a man who wears many hats. He does production/soundtrack work for television and film. He also releases cds under the alias Arcane, Max Van Richter, Amrita and under his own name, Paul Lawler. His Arcane project's sound is along the lines of earlier Tangerine Dream. It's in the realm of Berlin School EM (aka New Age Synthesizer Music). He uses his Amrita "hat" to produce massage and relaxation EM (New Age Synth) CDs.
Those into New Age EM may want to give his music a shot if you want to re-live the Tangerine Dream-esque sounds of the 1970s or want to sit back, relax and dream..
