This is a very relaxing album. The lyrics appeal to me. This is a good wake up early and play the music as the sunrays hit your wooden floors type of music. Guitar riffs, appealing lyrics i think most can relate to. Some unforgettable lines that will always stick with me.

This is a GREAT album! A nice drive in the sun deserves The Train Song, and Prince Caspian is definately in the 'play as dinner goes' song. I don't like "FREE" much - but the rest just get better as it goes. I love this.

Medication - not my cup of tea. didn't appeal to me much for being a first track. too fast paced and out of place. doesn't set the mood.
Everybody Knows That You Are Insane - the analogy to QOTSA is that their music is like a rock rubberband. it stretches, and Homme's voice is really fluid sometimes. this is one of those songs.
Tangled Up In Plaid - ONE OF MY FAVS! solid beat, very addicting!
Burn The Witch - humorous, especially after the music video. Also fun to jam to.
In My Head - sexy song of a rocker committed to his girl. That makes me believe again :) haha.
I Never Came- ALSO one of my favs. I love the highpitched intro coconut sound. Lovely.
Someone's In The Wolf - Also another one of my favs. less stretch, solid beat. A little more chill than the rest, for once :) Very nice.
The Blood Is Love - nice buildup factor in this song. lots of tension.
Skin On Skin - wasn't so fascinated.
Broken Box - although i call this song a stretchy one aswell, its one of my favorites on the album. the stretch of the guitar is exactly what makes me love it!
"You Got A Killer Scene There Man..." Fun Lyrics - "i just cursed the sun so i could howl at the moon" !! Nice.
Long Slow Goodbye - meh. *shrugs.

All of the songs are starting to sound the same after a while. That's one of the things that a singer should avoid, i think. Songs should vary enough so that the audience doesnt have to think about why these songs are starting to become monotonous.
The vocals are, beautiful though, i do love Norah, and alot of it is based on the lyrics. But there is a lot of potential in variety.

I love Ghinzu. They have very interesting elements throughout their compositions. what throws me off is their sudden change in emotion, which causes the mood to break. If they portray a light, floaty walking/music mood, and suddenly jam into some drum solo, it makes me wanna stop and sit and wait till they come back into that mood, or skip to the next song. Otherwise, lovely.
Love them. Nice lyrics, aswell.
