Reviews & Discussion:

The chants mix is a 15 (or longer) minute trip of a 4-note pianoloop and a bunch of children euhm, chanting something in spanish. It's ridiculously simple but oh so effective. A trip of warm sounds with summervibes written all over it. It's sonic equivalent of a warm blanket. This is what minimal should be about, a maximum of emotions with a minimum of sounds. Once again Ricardo shows how it's supposed to be done.
Aaron-Carl - Hateful Mar 19, 2008
When you see an Aaron Carl record with UR-remixes, you usually do the happy-dance. Not this time, I think these UR-remixes are the worst things ever to be associated with the name UR. Very mediocre and fashionable electro, not what I expected of a guy like Orlando Voorn who has got many great releases under his belt. I can't say much about the original as I was so shocked by the remixes I didn't really listen to the original anymore. Maybe I expect too much of UR of Orlando.
This is another great release of these relatively unknown guys. i picked the record up coincidence but fell in love with it instantely. The A-side is fun elektro, but nothing more than that. The B-side on the other hand is just mind blowing. The titletrack is funky elektro-breakbeat with some old skool rave sounds thrown in, with a really cool break. "Las Maquinas" is the best track on this release and perhaps one of the most thrilling tunes I own. It's an elektro-acid-trance monster that just fucks with your head.
A must have!
This record is insane! Specially the sublimation mix is awesome. The record is basically being slightly insane processed trough a drummachine and some synths.I've heard this ages ago in a set of Juan Atkins @ Gayle and spent hours, weeks, years looking for it and eventually just stumbled across it by accident. The funny thing for me is that this track, which I think is a masterpiece, is produced by the guys who would later become Da Rick, which I think are exponents of the absolute lowpoint of dancemusic. But this dates from the time that housemusic was not devided in subgenres and just expressed an overall celebration of joy.
