Fantastic bit of horror disco with anxious female vocals and creaking cellos, this French 5-some are ready to save French rock and take it into the clubs.
Joakim proves himself a fantastic remixer again! The 'Joakim Italo Dub' sounds truly authentic, and is the best Italo-Disco track of the year!

This has to be one of the best 12" of the year 2005!
The Mandarine Girl track is so catchy without ever being cheezy, that it will remain a milestone for Booka Shade & Get Physical Label. Will no doubt become a future 'classic' track.
Also the B-sides offer 2 great track for the adventurous electro-house dj.

Almost 300 people have this release and no one wrote a comment about it? That’s almost impossible since this is without a doubt one of Tiefschwarz best remixes!
It's is a powerful electro-house track with that typical sound that makes their remixes stand out. With this remix Tiefschwarz also single-handedly launched Spectrum to the bigger audience. This very limited release quickly became such a clubhit that Spectrum decided to re-launch not the original but this remixed track as a single, accompanied by a music video!

This is a 12" that I bought for the B-side track only.
Surely "Taken It All" is a great track in its original form, but the Todd Edwards Mix sounds so outdated like it was 1996 again. And the Knight Club mix is just a total bugger.
But The Paper Faces Remix of Gem is amazing and totally justifies the purchase of this 12". Paper Faces aka Jaques Lu Cont rebuilds this track to an fantastic acid banger that works very well in the clubs. Still, I wished they had released this track as a single 12" with a non-vocal version on the B-side.
