Profile: Present at the Paulistano Underground since 1986, dj Marcelo Mellao contributes a lot to the disclosure and assimilation of the electronic music (INDUSTRIAL/ELETRONIC BODY MUSIC style) playing at the former ESPACO RETRO, ARMAGEDDON, TREIBHAUS; supporting Eneas Neto the old Programa ZENZOR at 97FM; working at alternative music shops such as MUZIC ALTERNATIVE MUSIC and INDIE RECORDS and contributing to many magazines articles and alternative music zines. Nowadays playing and supporting various parties and shows in the Paulistano underground , even sharing the “pick ups” with PATRICK CODENYS (FRONT 242), JOHN STARLIGHT (ZOMBIE NATION), LARRY TEE (ELECTRO CLASH), BEROSHIMA, among other world underground celebrities… He’s also DJ and organizer of the TREIBHAUS OFFICIAL PARTY, monthly revival of the legendary Gothic House of Sao Paulo.

Born and living in São Paulo (Brazil), Marcelo C, aka Dj Dark Side has been restructured, remixed several classic of underground with the codename Dj Dark Side.
His style of mixing like a old school style, very similar to the remixes of Hot Tracks and Razormaid team (maintaining voice, drums, synth, bass of the original music).
The purpose of their remixes is rescuing some classic known only in the alternative/underground world, extending some songs that were very short (on your point of view), make some more direct, more dancing, exploring new points of view.
For all that, their mixes are being recognized and being successful in some nightclubs of undergound/alternative music and some web radios of Brazil and Europe.
