Atom™ - Acid Evolution 1988 - 2003 - 12-Aug-09 05:02 AM
If you look for long mental acid house tracks, don't look further. The acid evolution is the one. The entire cd explores the psychedelic side of house music. Its an exploration into the early 1987 repetitives & hypnotic drum beats ; each track features an acid bass pattern in the Chicago vein, very classic but very effective result. The funny thing is Atom said himself he didn't use any tb 303 for this acid lp. Trance dance for the new millenium !

Luke Vibert - YosepH - 06-Jun-09 01:35 AM
On Acidisco, Luke Vibert has recreated a famous acid bass pattern. The 303 bass sounds identical to the one you hear on 1987 Tyree's anthem "Acid Over". Luke has done a great hommage to the original with this track, this is a real hard thing to remake an identical analog pattern. Luke seems to be a TB303 program master, he also recreated the great acid bassline of S'Express's Superfly Guy (Fluffy Bagel Mix) on his Wagon Christ alias track Sorry I Make You Lush.

Hardfloor - Acid Energy / Who Took Da Box? - 25-May-09 02:43 AM
This Japan special release sounds like an hommage to the Chicago golden years acid house classics. Both titles reproduces the acid bass pattern of two 88' acid anthems.
A side's "Acid Energy" bass line is a remake of DJ Pierre's "Box Energy" (Various "Acid Trax Vol 2" Trax Records 1989) while B side is recreates the acid sound of LAs' Music from LA (another DJ Pierre project)(Various "Acid Trax Vol 3" Trax Records 1989).

Here again, the famous acid duo delivers the Chicago Acid influences directly, but inject in also their very typical repetitive trancey touch.

Kango's Stein Massiv - Gul Klister - 10-Apr-08 09:06 AM
Prins Thomas did a fantastic job on his Saltvann remix. Its version sounds like a trippy Chicago 80's jack trax with todays intruments & effects. It's raw like a early house tune, but also a pure psychedelic DJ tool for the dancefloor pleasure. Decays & reverbs evolves wonderfully during the entire track. This gives the illusion the rhytm beat seems to change at any moment. This one is perfect to loose its mind on the dance floor.

Plastique De Rêve - The Sounds You Hear - 05-Mar-05 07:32 AM
"So Many Things" : probably one of the best Acid House track i have heard for a long time. This groovy tb 303 bassline meets a mental electro beat.the result : essential acid house for those who knows.
