Ken Ishii - Mix-Up Vol. 3 - 03-Mar-04 11:55 AM
Same impression over here. Some tracks are really MASSIVE but the mix itself is not what i expect. The transition between all that styles are not well done for me and it would be better to do a non mixed compilation with all those tracks.
Jeff Mills - Mix-Up Vol. 2 Featuring Jeff Mills - LiveMix At Liquid Room, Tokyo - 03-Mar-04 11:52 AM
Well I must say that when i listen to this mix from The Wizard I'm always disapointed. Listening this live would be a fantastic experience but on cd it's not. I don't know why but Jeff Mills on cd is not the same than Jeff Mills in club or party. On cd and particulary on this one you hear every mix mistake and personaly on this mix there too much. Conclusion : not the best mix cd form Jeff Mills
Youngsters, The - Place, Race And Face - 02-Mar-04 01:38 AM
The first mix by The Youngster is really on the Electro-Tech side. It's beautifull, plenty of electro strings and really efficient on the dancefloor. For the second mix by Agoria that's an other story. I don't know wath was wrong with him when he was doing this remix because it's extremely dark and heavy sound. Of course it will be really good on big soundsystem but it's not my favorite remix.
Various - Lektrokuted Sampler - 13-Feb-04 07:33 AM
This picture disc is really beautifull plus there is the smashing hit "The Game Is Not Over" with the voice of THE electro girl : Miss Kittin. It's dark and dirty as hell. Really impressive.
Tomaz - I ♥ Techno 2002 - 13-Feb-04 07:31 AM
This cd is a pure concentrate of masterpieces. Each track is more powerfull than the one before and the mix is constanly going futher and futher. Tomaz give us wath we need and he gives us in a very very good way. The mix is pure and straight. No annoying effects. Just music. In short : when I listen to this mix-cd I really LOVE TECHNO.
