I am a hobbiest DJ in the US trying to grow the popularity of trance in Texas (a hard thing to do with hip-hop whoring itself all over this place). My favorite genre is vocal trance and eurodance. I just can't get enough! By the way, as you can probably tell by my collection, I am a CD DJ. I have no shame!!

This is probably one of the best mix CDs I've heard. This is by one of the resident DJs that performs at Ra (Club at the casino in Las Vegas known as The Luxor). The reason this is is good is because not only is it mixed well is that the tracks are tracks I haven't heard before (some I've heard, but not a lot). Now I do like my mainstream vocal trance (fragma, dee dee, ian van dahl, etc.) but I know all their songs. This compilation introduced me to a lot of good tracks that I will now buy as singles because of this CD. Yes this CD is mixed and is not useful in doing a DJ set, but it makes a good CD to discover some new tracks!

t.A.T.u. has some great remixes, but finding them legally is another thing. Here are my favorites:

This is very good hard trance vocal track. The other mixes aren't that great, but it's all about the original extended! It's good for blending and the vocals are great. Supposedly there are like 3 or 4 girls in this group, but I only hear one. Whatever it is, this song is great and it's disappointing that it doesn't have a music video like Secrets by Absolom does.

If any vinyl in the world makes me buy a turntable, it's this one right here. This song is incredible and I want to own this vinyl just to own it! The Club mix on the other vinyl is good, but the CJ Stone on this one is CJ Stone's best mix ever! And that's an understatement. If you like your trance with sexy female vocals and huge build-ups with a blow-up climax, then this is for you! BUY BUY BUY!!!

Lasgo are my idols! I loved them for a year and then they came to Texas to perform live (see pic in the more images page on here). Incredible! They even sang live. Not only does Dave, Evi, and Peter perform well, but they also create some of the greatest "cheese trance" to date! They're right up next to Ian Van Dahl in quality of music. Also when I met them to get my album signed by all of them, they were very down to earth and friendly. This is rare in the EDM scene it seems. By the way, last time I communicated with Peter, they're working on a new single and album. I am definitely waiting very impatiently!
