Paolo Mojo & Jim Rivers - Ron Hardy Said - 30-Dec-08 03:06 PM
Eric Prydz drops the bomb in this release. The Original mix has enough about itself, but the flip is the best "dreamy - techy - dubby" thing I've heard in some time.Drop it in a set and watch people react to it - you've never seen anything like it.Gives you the feeling you've done your job the best way you can - by entertaining people to the max.Grab this gem either on vinyl or the digital release! You'll be surprised how much you can get for your money!!!

Joe Montana - Sol Y Sombra EP - 03-Nov-08 03:11 PM
If there is one thing we should definitely acknowledge Joe Montana for, this is percussion programming. This man is god in human flesh!!!You should listen to Sunrise on your headphones in dim light and just try to imagine Ibiza and the beach by day - damn you're there already.I'm not impressed by his work on the flip though :( - could have done it better, should have done it better.Well to summarize it - buy this record as a last resort, only if you can't get the digital copy of "Sunrise"

Christian Smith & John Selway - Point To Point EP - 11-Apr-08 06:41 AM
I didn't want to write a review at first, but I just couldn't help doing it when I gave the record a second (and thorough) ear. The build up, the cords, the pads and the stabs are unique and go beyond quality on the programming part... I mean - you can't be a normal human being and do all the stuff Smith and Selway have done on the record. On the A side we have "Point To Point". The name says it all - the techno veterans have used up the stereo effect in an incomparable way to deliver a feeling so great that it feels like you're walking on thin air, going point to point without any effort - Godly.
On the flip - "It's like that". Yeah Smith and Selway are the best techno artists at the moment and "It's like that" guys - they just make it clear. Techno bomb using all kind of tools including a vocal sample to kill your ass on the dance floor. It feels like somebody is spanking your sorry ass. Mighty tight kick, heavy progression to the main theme and keys that knock out the teeth out of your mouth.
Dinner is served children! Got some teeth?

Kings Of Groove - Cubalibre - 10-Apr-08 06:32 PM
Haven't heard anything like that since Tomaz & Filterheadz's "Sunshine EP" when Carl Cox used to drop it 'till late 2004. I mean ... It's just awesome when you think of how people are capable of creating such divine and at the same so simple a groove. Just.. Splendid!
P.S This will stay in my case for quite a long time, I'm sure!
I'm getting a marvelous reaction from the crowd. The theme is so catchy that you have to be dead or deaf to resist it!
Masterpiece, period
