Profile: Been collecting vinyl records since 93 and DJing since 96. Bought the domain http://www.recycleddj.com/ on January 2006. I forward http://www.recycleddj.com/ to my Discogs Marketplace so you'll always will be able to find my records for sale. I have a 100% Positive feedback on eBay and Discogs Marketplace and have never had one complaint. I always have taken good care of my vinyl and now I'm selling them. I have yet to submit all my records into my Discogs collection and will hopefully find time in the future to keep adding them in.

I've also created an account on YouTube titled “RecycledDJ”. On YouTube you'll find entire tracks that you can listen to. Hopefully by providing these samples it will give you a better idea if the track your looking for is indeed the 'one'. See the YouTube channel here, http://www.youtube.com/user/RecycledDJ or http://www.djsnafu.com/

Created my account (djsnafu) here on Discogs on June 2006, 6 months after buying http://www.recycleddj.com/ and unfortunately couldn't get that name (recycleddj) on here due to someone else already registering it on April 2006, 3 months after I bought my domain. So I registered with my DJ alias (djsnafu) that I go by. I've tried contacting 'recycleddj' on Discogs but he's never responded.

For sellers: I have a confirmed shipping address with PayPal and my account here reflects the same.

Just contact me if you have any questions. Cheers

***I will not send you an MP3 of the tracks or sell them to you as MP3s so don't send me emails asking for such.***

***Please do not send me emails about items your selling on eBay that are on my Want List, if you do I'll report you to Discogs.***

Hysterix - Talk To Me Oct 03, 2008
Sasha's version of "Talk To Me" has a repeating sample that always eluded me in the past when I first heard this track. The sample I am referring to comes from Big Audio Dynamite II's classic 1991 track "The Globe". Its a wonderful sample used in combination with the overlaying breakbeat. The female vocals have been vocaded with the right amount and slowly begins to filter back to the original. A wonderful masterpiece! You can also find this track mixed on Sasha & Digweeds Renaissance Mix.
Various - The Remixes Oct 03, 2008
I disagree that the album fails. Tracks A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C2, D2, & D3 are all great tracks. Only 30% (4 tracks) of this release IMO doesn't stand up to the other 70% (8 tracks).

A2 - The beginning of Sasha's String Mix is reminiscent of "The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby" but much slower and only slightly different. I'm quite surprised that no one has picked up on this. Sasha must have been inspired by The Beatles track when he remixed Urban Soul's "Alright". The strings come in lifting you up and then just as you are beginning to feel spiritual a deep bass line drops you back to earth to hear the wonderful female vocal of "Everything is gonna be alright" and you begin to groove. One of the best earlier mixes of Sasha.

Granted 'To A Nation Rockin' is the core at what makes this a great release but 'Stone Skippin' was something totally different at what was being released during this time period. Gavin Hardkiss made good use of this track on his Mix CD "Weekend" Catalog#: HKS 19003-2. He uses the best part of the track (Beginning and middle) and avoids the end by bringing in another wonderful track TC 1995 - Just Get Up And Dance (Sure Is Pure Remix). If you don't have this vinyl, you should get it. Pure Gold!
