I love music as it comes, what means I don't care if it fits a specific style or genre. I just like the music or I don't and only that counts for me.

5) This record is unique or special for me, a milestone or simply much better then the rest of them. In my opinion not to be missed in any kind of electronic music record collection. Could be played at all times.

4) This record is very good, well produced and could fit a good record set. Better then the common stuff and fits your collection very well. Played a lot or be requested a lot.

3) Nice record, a little bit common, but fits a record set. Nice to have but no must at all. Played once in a while.

2) Not my kind a thing, but given for free or as a present. Played only when requested.

1) Really poor record, a waste of time, a shame. Never played and never will. The sooner I lost it the better.

Jori Hulkkonen’s mix of "Crosses" is a prime example for a masterfully arranged emotional pop-house anthem: underneath a swinging groove accoustic guitar and piano with heavy reverb constantly build-up and totally enwrap the whole floor before the bitter-sweet male vocal and strings drop in - preferably to be played in the early morning hours for maximum effect. Flip over for something else: Rocketboy gives "Heartbeats" the original 80’s boogie touch with in two cool versions.

Fabulous record.

"The Deep" is a very cool prog track, nice remix work from Barry Jamieson & Jon Sutton aka Evolution. It sounds still fresh today.

"Liar" is a track that will not fit a specific style or genre. Its dark and moody and mysterious in its own way. Especially the combination with the male vocal makes this track very emotional and special to me.

A very usefull record, its not very common, but its really worth tracking it down...

Tom Holkenborg keeps amazing me with his variety of remixes. This time he managed to make a beautiful smooth and warm breakbeat remix of Natalie Imbruglia - Beauty On The Fire. The nice thing about Tom is that he did the job without losing respect for the original pop track and still gives this remix a "Junkie treatment" trademark.

Too bad this track is not very known cause its superb. With its deep basslines, catchy rhythms and sticky vocals the track gives the crowd a very smooth and happy feeling. It will match many midnight summer sets on the beach or in the club.

Classic mayhem release, absolutely brilliant remixes by Kevin Saunderson. The Reese Hardcore Instrumental Version has been bootlegged forever. I also like to mention the Hardsell mix by Joey Beltram on the B-side cause its very well done too and less people know this remix.
