Keith Tucker - Speaker Worshipping - 02-Mar-07 04:50 PM
This record is special. It has a limited number of pressings; 300. Each individual record has been consecutively counted with it's number on it. The beats are definetly with the K1 touch. The song "Electro Files" is a real deep detroit electro track, really nice. While the song , "Speaker Worshipping" , can totally rock a party. A needle should be dropped on this recording for the Electro head.

Manuel, Headen, & Roberts - We're The New York Giants - 22-Sep-06 08:04 PM
This is the New York Giants Fan Electro Rap song. It was released due to the Giants winning their first Superbowl in 1986. It is a rare piece of music with raps talking about the players and team bragging rights. The chorus line is a chant using the title of the song, "Were The New York Ginats". Though it is a fun/fan song like the 1985 Chicago Bears, "Superbowl Shuffle", this song could be taken more serously in the mix or at the party, especially where Giant Fans are present or in New York City. Also, non Giant Fans could still enjoy the instrumental. Go Big Blue!

Egyptian Lover, The* - Platinum Pyramids - 15-Aug-06 06:25 AM
This Egyptian Lover release is very special. For a 2006 release, it still sounds like his productions from the 80's with a clean tight big beat booming analog sound. The beats are big with that Roland TR808 decayed kick drum and fresh minimal synthesizer riffs and sound scapes and melodies. This album is like a trip back to the analog days with the clean digital advancments to recording today's music. A must have for the old school electro enthusiats/dj who buys new music and new production for the mix. While some of the new electro productions coming out in the later sound kind of fake, stiff, and digitally cold, this album is phat, anolog warm, and true to that Egyptian Lover sound.

Smoothe Da Hustler - Hustlin' / Broken Language - 04-Mar-06 10:21 AM
Broken Language is the pick from this plate. A pure hiphop track banging with a super fresh street beat and sounds. The lyrics are just traditional rap styles, but their play on words is some what ingenious. When this track first hit the streets on release, it was a must have for HipHop Dj's.

KRS-One - Ah Yeah - 04-Mar-06 10:21 AM
This song is a rare culturally conscious rap classic. KRS's writing pen turns into a sword for social justice and political awareness. The language/lyrics is strong and direct and the beats are a total head nodder. The music bead is simple but strong. The production approach allows Kris's vocals to shine with clarity and intelligibility.
