John Beltran - Earth & Nightfall - 18-Oct-06 08:09 AM
Where do I start? Dug this one out of the old pile about 2 weeks ago and it has been on near constant play since then. A forgotten classic maybe. Delicate music hinting on IDM, Detroit (Classic) Techno and even classical music. Short overall playing length (45mins or so) but what a journey, Aquatic is probably my favourite track on it, very Detroit sounding warm techno, but on the whole nothing on this package dissapoints. So glad I came back to it.

Scan-7* - Black Moon Rising - 21-Jul-06 09:05 AM
For me this is the mostimportant record I have in my collection, every one of the tracks on this 12 are out of this world. Black Moon Rising is the pick of the bunch with it's almost melancholy feel, real lo-fi production on this just adds to the whole package. I have some great memories around this record, track it down if you can - a super must.

Jeff Mills - Twilight Scenario - 24-Jun-06 04:28 AM
Never really got in to this record when I first purchased it, but now I am really feeling this. Tony Brown's Galactic Interlude mix is devasting, the melody line is really simple and seems to weave it's way through the track, as Aux 88 said PLAY IT LOUD!!!

Sun God, The - Relics & Artifacts - 11-Apr-06 05:44 AM
Rarely does a record this good come along. Side A is akin to Washing Machine era Larry Heard, real dry kick and the craziest sounds going off underneath, real head music. Side B is like a lost Transmat classic, big dramatic build up and then it kicks in, love Jamal Moss at the moment.

Sleepless Crew - Spell House - 24-Mar-06 05:35 AM
Spell House - What can I say? Speak and Spell vocals, electro beats and a mean acid line. Devastingly simple, effective dancefloor fodder.
