Reviews & Discussion:

A side track is a very good dubstep track with metal samples, a real headbanger by Niveau Zero - him, again.
But B side track is... hardly explainable. You have a big growling bass, and choirs, and broken beats that make you feel you're contemplating a huge fucking alien cathedral spaceship. Totally DEEP and MENTAL. Perfect and unique track by 2methylbulbe1ol.
Excellent - probably the best - RUFF release.
Most listenable and accessible album by the Snares so far.
But also one of my favourites (#1 or #2).
Why ? First, because this album lives as a whole journey.
Secondly, this is marvellously orchestrated/arranged : samples, synths and drum breaks answer to each other in a perfect and unheard way so far. On "my downfall", Snares attempted to do this without sample, but he mainly did chords changing at the beginning of each bar, and that's all. Here, everything is beautiful because of these questions/answers and because all of the tracks with drums go to a pinnacle of melancholy and tortured sadness.
I prefer the "ambient" tracks to those in "my downfall" because i can understand their meaning. The mood of the album is kept throughout all the tracks.
In Snares' top releases, with Doll Doll Doll, Winnipeg and HCCBU.
This comment would be relevant if 7/4 DnB ever existed.

Black Bone Orchid samples Chostakovitch string quartet n°8 3rd mvmt.

This single could have been 3rd 12" of "Pantheon of Fiends".

This is one of the most underrated breakcore albums ever.
It has one theme : old horror movies, track titles are obvious enough.
Every track is a perfect combination of weird dark samples, violent broken beats on unusual time signatures.
The only weakness of this release may have been its relatively low overall volume. But it has a musical value rarely heard in breakcore, very near to Venetian Snares' "doll doll doll".
My favorite track is "Stratagem of the invisible man".

Cardopusher was the greatest breakcore mashup artist.
His move on dubstep was still very good, with surprising tracks which were way more interesting than the usual wobble productions in this style.
Since True Tiger's Gibold, what he has been releasing is extremely disappointing.
Where have all the sounds gone ?? It seems there is nothing left to eat.
I don't know what happened...
DJ Primecuts' remix is easily my favourite dubstep track.
Everything required is here : aggressive wobbling bass, growing synths, diversity of sounds and excellent use of FB's rapping. Perfect.
Sadly, Ruckspin mix is hard to listen to after Primecuts'.
Side A is a good mental dubstep.
Side AA is one of the greatest dubstep tracks i've ever heard.
Deep bass (almost sounds like a heart beat), beautiful chords, it keeps on growing.
A very good first contact with Boot.
