One for the funkateers out there. Known as a Loft classic for it's spacey disco and electronica, but "Final Funk" is the stand out track if you ask me.

"Light Years (Opus IV)" is an awesome track and the perfect companion piece to "Solar Flight" the Loft classic from the first LP

To me, this is a better set than the Larry Levan mixes on Mango, although they are ptretty awesome in their own right, they take away from the finesse and magic of these original versions. A British Hustle Classic!

MFSB - Dance With Me Tonight Oct 07, 2009
A welcome 12" release for MFSB, there are not that many for such an important band.

Wonderful lavish disco arrangements, as you would expect from the likes of Dexter Wansel and Thom Bell. "Is It Something I Said" is the stand out track for me - a tight funky groove with an intro and bridge of truly epic dimensions.

A version of "Dance With Me Tonight" can be found on Dexter Wansel's LP "What The World Is Coming To" very similar to the version here from "The Gamble And Huff Orchestra" LP.
