Various - Squarepusher Vs. - 30-Jan-08 06:17 AM
This record is more than unispired. Its a boring copy and paste bootleg record. Perfect for explaining why bootleging should be illegal - at least for DJ Jason Allan. Could easily be done with the original tracks played together, he didnt even change the built up or peaks of the tracks. Why can people suck ideas and music from real musicians an build a reputation with it? A real let down. Avoid this record at any cost, esp if you like Squarepushers music.
Crazy Wisdom Masters - The Payback EP - 11-Mar-07 06:02 AM
al1 is right, Warner Bros did have issues with putting these tracks out. But a few tracks of this era got released on the LP J. Beetz Wit The Remedy.
Skiz said in an interview that Bill Laswells part was introducing Sensational to the Jungle Brothers. Their fist encounter was at Laswells place where Sensational was freestyling while scraching a Stockhausen record ...!

deep techno, some with a lush male voice singing/talking about love and relationship. Constantly building up, this is a brilliant dance record, not only for the hard hitting snares added at the end of most tracks
Zombieflesheater - Kill Dat Sound - 05-Aug-04 04:05 AM
This is a disturbing record: being into DJ Scud´s (and the like) mashup style and thinking i´ve heard it all, this record taught me the complete opposite. Jungle yells, alarm sounds, mashed up amen beats, nice sung lines from a root reggae track, and all at the same time! Listening to it for quite a while now, i still switch my favorite track: today it´s the A-side, tomorrow the B-side. What a great piece of vinyl!! As digitalworldnet.org put it: "[ZFE].. knows how to produce the heavy distorted ragga noise but is in not forgetting all the headbangers out there... this guy has real long hair - and headbanging should be his thing. If we wouldnt know better we would say: SHIZUO is back, every control on these hot tunes is lost.."
Crazy Wisdom Masters - The Payback EP - 18-Feb-04 07:03 AM
this is a very disturbing record from the well known jungle brothers. Sensational, who has been a part of that group in the very beginning, must have made this possible.. Rough sampled Hip-Hop with fast, nearly screamed vocals, goes well with the "Hawd Gankstuh Rappuhs Wid Ghatz"-release. There is only one platform for this kind of music: wordsound/black hoodz
