I concur with the above. The quality of this pressing is so bad its best left in the bin no matter what price it has on it. Not many times does a vinyl sound bad, but this is so compressed it sounds like a low bitrate computer file. Whats more sad is this is like keeping up with a trax tradition. I gave it the benefit of doubt in the store as the equipment is not always in the best of shape.
Too bad though as the tracks are awesome dirty chicago house.

Mike Dunn cuts away most of cheese on the "Love Change Sequences" mix and whats left is a nice raw track which balance the parts from the original with the drum track. The other mixes have to much of the strings up in the mix for my liking, but they are not bad mind you. Just a bit too, well .. cheesy. On the mentioned mix the strings appear just shortly and add drama to it very well.

Christiansands is a tribute to the city Kristiansand in Norway where the Quart festival is held every July and where he played in about 1993.

Good enough, but nothing extraordinary about a1. Try a2 however and the verse and some of the "chorus" is cut leaving the best bit of the vocal and a nice groove under it. Very good. Flip to b2 and get one funky madass groove with a hip house break and no vocals. Trust the UR crew.

This is nice deep house and is sailing familiar KY seas. Not very much happening here really, but builds slowly and steadily with some nice noodling.
