I actually have the original record made by Sharon Prabhakar and Musarrat Nazir. If Im right, these singers came from India and Pakistan, but the record is really influenced by the late 70s disco vibe (one of them lived in Canada in the 70s, so maybe this was the trigger?). Mikes edit here is incredibly well done and really necessary for this track. At least, now its possible to play the track for a broader audience instead of just for the disco heads. Love it!
