Profile: I'm 31, fell in love with the sounds from 1981-1984, especially Italo Disco, Electro Funk, acid etc.

Due to my age I missed this period just a little bit, I was just too young to visit local recordstores ;)

Somewhere in the late 80's I noticed an "illegal radiostation" in my city which played a lot of Italo music, from that moment it all went wrong :)

Started collecting records somewhere in 1995 / 1996, when Italian Import Recordshop opened its doors in The Hague...even started trading and buying records trough internet, biggest mistake I've ever made was swapping "Mono Band - Mr. Crusoë" for "K. Barré - Right By The Moon", "van ruilen komt huilen" :) .... almost 10yrs later (2008) I finally found me a copy of Mr Crusoe on eBay, good lesson.

Records in my collection are *NOT* for sale!

Reviews & Discussion:

The 'Micionis' became more famous after their successes with Gary Low. This song by Klaudia is an absolute early Italo killer from 1982 which must have been an inspiration for artists like Dora Carofiglio & The Nicolosi Family. Beautiful high synths which can be recognised in 'Savage - Don't Cry Tonight', 'The Creatures - Believe In Yourself', 'Charlie - Spacer Woman'; sweet voices, dramatic drums, an underestimated record and a real must-have for Italo Collectors, grab your copy while you can!
