Profile: Have listened to all sorts of music over the years. During the early eighties I was into New Wave, then went Pink Floyd before being introduced to Hip Hop.
Was a Hip-Hop DJ (in the group MVC Posse) on a radio show called the "Wednesday Nite Jam" from 1989-1992. The show is still going on Radio Active 89FM in Wellington, New Zealand.
My favourite hip hop artists in no particular order are Run DMC, Public Enemy, Eric B & Rakim, and many others like ATCQ for instance.
My favourite non-Hip Hop artists in no particular order are New Order, Pet Shop Boys, pre-86 Duran Duran, Pink Floyd, and lots of other mainly electronic bands like FGTH for example.
My collection will eventually start to include all my wifes CD and tapes. She has quite different tastes to me although she's a big fan of the Pet Shop Boys also.
