Alex Fergusson’s debut single is a very nice and catchy little electronic pop record. Musically it is strongly reminiscent of Silicon Teens and early Depeche Mode (circa Speak & Spell), which isn’t surprising, considering it was produced by the same person – Daniel Miller (under the nickname of Larry Least) Mute Records supremo, the man behind The Normal and Silicon Teens projects. Highly recommended to all fans of early Mute Records output and Flexipop series.
