The 808 mix is an absolute monster. Its way down at 116bpm but the kick works really well - drop into a techno set and pitch it up to +8 and people go mad!

Dirty, dirty techno. The drop halfway through the acid house mix is fierce and slowly builds back to squelchy perfection. Beautiful.

Only for the hardcore Norman Cook/Fatboy Slim fans. Most tracks have easily recognisable samples within them, although I struggled to work out where some of the later tracks were actually used. Overall a good mix of music: a fun jaunt through the Norman Cook world...although it does make you think where he gets some of his ideas from after hearing seemingly random and unremarkable songs.

A small number of mispresses have been released into the world: you may find if you purchase this CD from the WarpMart that it is actually a "Best of" album by the Troggs. I had this CD and returned it to Warp, and got a stash of goodies for my trouble.

Some CDs are printed with "Massive" rather than "Massive Attack" as this CD was pressed around the time of the early-nineties Gulf conflict; the name "Massive Attack" was deemed too close to the line, and was therefore changed for this release.
