My name is Nathan. I usually go by ENDC or Spur depending on the style of track. I write and record for Jennifer Grimm as well.

I have written and recorded the following vocals (whether credited on the label or not)...

"Drift Away" ft. ENDC (SOG)
Named 'Tune of the Season' - Paul van Dyk

"Blue on Blue" ft. Jennifer Grimm (Somatic Sense, Armada)
"Identify" ft. Nathan C (Somatic Sense, Armada)
"Turn On" ft. Jennifer Grimm (Celebrity, OM)
"Share It" ft. Jennifer Grimm (Large)

...and several others.

Cheers,
Nathan

Dope & Dusted - Are U Jealous Jul 05, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
The premise behind the "Are U Jealous" single is a rhythmic cut-up of the vocal sample from Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back," where the girl says, "Look at her butt. It is so big." The B1 side starts out with a repeat of "Look at her butt" and aside from the humor in that contains few surprises. The real treat is the Toby Neal Club Mix which spends a good deal of time emphasizing "It is so big," which leaves things more open to interpretation -- depending on how you use it! The inside cut "Coco Drums" is a simple affair with a funky bassline and keys, and does not use the "Look at her butt" vocal sample.
Classic. Other Baguio remixes end up turning the vocal into a pop song. This one preserves incredilble mystery and a haunting quality. The floor just busts when this kicks.
The Parks & Wilson's Scalpel Mix on this is incredible. It can be mixed over many other styles for an epic build -- often I'll drop it over a Luke Chable or Steve Porter. Great album. What a keeper.
These are good mixes and the vocal hook mixes in well from other songs (especially the dubbier side B from Mischa Daniels). The problem I have with both sides is that the high end is a little too shushhy all the time. This makes it tough to EQ well on the dance floor and keep a full sound. Overall the tracks play well and it's worth keeping around though. The hook has a nice vibe.
Beautiful and spacious hand drums with melodic chanting. Goes beyond your average tribal sound. A real gem.
