Deadmau5 - Catbread / Word Problems - 26-Jan-09 03:47 PM
Deadmau5 returns once again to his own Mau5trap label with two huge tracks – Catbread & Word problems.

Catbread is a huge mau5 track with trademark drums and a huge, sick bassline that has to be heard LOUD. Great melodies and harmonics make this a definite future Mau5 classic.

Word Problems has a real classic Chicago vibe will deep acid undertones and bumpy rhythms. This is the darker side of the Mau5!

A must get for all you Mau5trap Fans and collectors!!

Miles Maeda - Ravon Lady - 16-Dec-08 04:25 PM
Chicago’s Miles Maeda presents his debut release on his very own imprint Bopsa Music. There’s no doubt Mr Maeda has reached the record boxes of many djs with great sounding productions on record labels Dot Bleep, Aroma, Dae Recordings, Robsoul, Odds & Ends and more… Dropping the needle on this record you can hear the Chicago roots worked into his production of “Ravon Lady”. Flip it for Derrick Carters mi mi groove rework. Mr Carter works up his funky business of snares, deep bass and wicked drums. Here is a sure shot for the house massive.

Aoo - Search For Love - 11-Dec-08 09:13 AM
The project Aoo was created in 2006 by two producers named Andrius Klimka and Igor (aka Oxide). Their creative alliance comes from Belorussia, where commercial glamour and pseudo-star pop-music reigns supreme. From this incredibly a new direction in club culture was born. Together with other electronic projects the Belarusian music is starting to be recognized in foreign countries where you can actually hear it on dance floors in other countries and labels from around the world. Aoo is a project that has always tried to walk that line between commercial music, available to everybody and the underground culture. With this their second release on A-Squared an impressive list of talent has been enlisted on remix duty to present a wide range of styles. Paul Anthony & ZXX and Label head Angel Alanis both present their take on Search For Love and they do it well!

Kaufmann & Ferdinand - Egger EP - 10-Dec-08 08:02 PM
Kaufmann und Ferdinand have had a big year with their Kaufe Musik imprint, Working with remixers such as Jesse Rose (Made to play / Get Physical / Berlin), Someone Else (Foundsound Rec. / USA), Riva Starr (Frontroom / Dirty Bird / GB) and more. Now sharing a release with their musical family across the atlantic ocean, Klientele is proud to present Kaufmann und Ferdinands simply titled, "Egger EP". This three track EP is an excercise in the unique "klik klack" sound that had fans including Dubfire, Claude Von Stroke (Dirty Bird), Paco Osuna (Minus), Mauro Picotto, Phil Kieran, Frankie (Frankie Records), Troy Pierce (Minus), Justin Robertson, Layo Paskin (Layo & Bushwacka), Behrouz, Hernan Cattaneo, Jim Masters (Hi-Tek-Soul), Satoshi Tomiie, Hector Romero, Joey Beltram (Tresor / New York), Silicone Soul, Stacey Pullen, Mijk van Dijk (Gigolo), Dj Vibe, Oscar G and more playing their last EP. With "Egga" they have crafted a growling modern mechanical acid track. Next up, we have "I Saw You," a tweaked out rubbery jack track that plays somewhere between Get Physical and Green Velvet. Last but certainly not least comes "I am soooo mad," a quirky, tech-ed out trip for fans of Dirtybird.

Renee Myara Quartet - What About Helen - 10-Dec-08 03:17 PM
Ironically, it’s awfully hard to find good music on the net these days. The overabundance of mediocre content often clouds the field, making a true artist into something of a needle in a haystack. But upon discovering The Renee Myara Quartet, we felt a little more hopeful about our prospects for the future. In 2005, Renee’s focus was the rock scene and her band “The Moment” recorded their premiere pop/rock album entitled “Bella.” It was a fine recording but unfortunately like many new groups they quite literally “disbanded (pardon the pun). Fortunately for us, Renee went on to put together “The Renee Myara Quartet” with fresh members Michael “MG” Grate (bass), Dave Aubrey (percussion), Jeremy Wasser (Tenor/Soprano Sax) and of course, Renee (Vocals/Piano/Guitar). In 2007 The Renee Myara Quartet finished their new CD “What About Helen” and we’d like to share it with you now …
