Boards Of Canada - In A Beautiful Place Out In The Country - 29-Jul-03 09:50 AM
this is in my opinion one of the greatest EPs ever released. each song is incredible, i cant get enough of this release. plus, each song on here is exclusive to the release, for the most part, unlike other BOC EPs where there are a lot of repeat tracks like turquoise hexagon sun and smokes quantity. this EP is definitely worth your money, highly recommended
Underworld - Dinosaur Adventure 3D - 17-Apr-03 07:18 PM
i finally got my hands on this version since i hadnt heard either of these mixes; both were good. the Sharpside mix is really good, a solid 9-minute track while the Chicken Lips version, while not as good in my opinion as Sharpside, still delivers a great song. highly recommended!
Nine Inch Nails - We're In This Together - 16-Mar-03 10:58 PM
this single is worth it for the last track alone. you might be thinking its been released elsewhere, but not this version. this is the extended outro version that is about 20-30 seconds longer. instead of abruptly ending at about 5:15, it beautifully fades out, which is much better in my opinion.
plus, were in this together is a cool song, as is the great mix of Complication and the new flesh, complications of the flesh. highly recommended
Squarepusher - Music Is Rotted One Note - 15-Mar-03 10:40 PM
when i first listened to this, i thought it was terrible. id never heard something sound so stupid. my friend told me id like it more as i listened to it more, and he was damn right. 2nd time around i loved it. Dont Go Plastic and My Sound are my favorites, but the album is an all-around great piece of work. its very different, but very enjoyable once you get into it
Telefon Tel Aviv - Immediate Action #8 - 23-Dec-02 08:13 PM
telefon tel avivs brilliant style of downbeat IDM continues what was started by their first release, Fahrenheit Fair Enough, into this EP. While only about 20 minutes long, all four songs are wonderfully woven together to make a short & sweet record
