Tim Baker - Detroit Sessions Vol 1 - 17-Jun-03 07:21 PM
Great production from Mr Baker. Especially the B side track, killer mechanical techno. The 2 A side tracks are decent, detroit flavoured tech.
Joel Mull - Imagination - 02-Oct-02 10:23 AM
Imagination is what you'll need listening to this. It takes you on a musical journey to a faraway universe, where the music is so brilliant and addictive. I just wish I could stay there forever.
Misstress Barbara - Relentless Beats Vol. 2 - 04-Mar-02 04:24 PM
I'm quite upset for having puchased this CD, it's really not on the same level as Vol. 1. There's about 4 or 5 imitations of Remanipulator, it's just way too funky, and there's some beeatch having an orgasm somewhere around half way through. It doesn't represent what Barbara can do live, so the problem MUST be Moonshine.
John Thomas - Caught In The Act - 10-Sep-01 02:49 PM
Ok, so the Space DJ'z are good and Umek is God, but no one can build a set like John Thomas. This mix truly reflects what a mixed compilation should be like, a gradual release of wicked beats, not some linear barrage of sound. In this mix, John Thomas uses some worn out tracks (Love Story), but also uses hidden gems from Claude Young, Robert Hood, Diskordia, and Steve Bicknell, delivering one nasty mix which you won't just listen to once. Nonetheless, my fave is still Claude Young DJ Kicks, see comment below.
Color Me Badd - 10-Jul-01 02:52 PM
What's this doing here?! For those who don't know, Color Me Badd is an early ninties, one hit wonder boy band lacking talent in music and taste in clothes. Their style of music varied from R, Hip Hop to just plain cheap pop commercial music. (trash). Lock up your daughters!
