Joey Beltram - Fuzz Tracks - 16-Apr-07 03:02 PM
4 tracks by the legend should be more than enough of a statement to make one look out for this, but forget that .. heres a better more to the point and far more meaningful statement.... The Grey (B2) ...!!! ALA JB in mid life crisis mode on the ROAD TO HELL!. REAL TECHNO MA MAN! and to all those who have been dedicated to the groove of electronic music for the last 20 years will have no trouble in comprehending what is meant by that last statement and no doubts also about the music being referred to! For all those who havent and/ or dont.. then its hard pounding beats 4 to the floor at around 135bpm - 145 bpm riddled with hi hats and cymbols and then finished of with loats of swirling deep heavy bass line synths and hey presto! "ALA JB in mid life crisis mode on the ROAD TO HELL!. "
Steve Stoll - Electronic World - 08-Nov-06 02:48 AM
classic 12" from stoll. A1 is a excellent 150bpm acid excursion down stoll highway bouncing dark beats and acid. V good. A2. is another killer bouncy acid track with loads of stuff going on in it but yet the track itself remains minimal as hell. Metallic stabs and acid screeches galore. A good musical experience indeed.(not one for the family hi-fi) B1 is a killer, licks off with a windy high pitched acid loop that sounds as though given chance it might just kill ya! so here we go on a long building dark as you like acid nightmare into the ELECTRONIC WORLD of mr Stoll i guess. V good all 3 tracks and as you would expect from Steve Stoll very hard.
Dirty House Crew - The Remixes - 05-Nov-06 07:42 AM
what a record,if you dig acid and fine acid at that then make it a must to seek find and buy a copy! firsty IGNORE the submitted details above because if this is house and not just pure Acid on the trance / techno line then I am the king of Spain.Cobblers i tell you!
awesome acid builder of the highest calibre, trance undertones and BPM and a killer 303 line that just frows all over the place like a rash!
100 / 100 for all!
Disorder (2) - Panic - 28-Oct-06 04:50 AM
This is upthere right next to energy flash and mentasm, no doubt. 2 killer acid cuts both very different to one another but both equally as tough and mindbending. Panic for me is so much a warehouse sound, a real booming atmosphertic acid adventure, i can picture myself in a huge warehouse full of that disco fog stuff and straight green lasers wacking everywhere, with the big sound of panic everywhere. Groove attack is also a quality acid affair with old school vocal samples used to a great effect. I just managed to get hold of this 12" by complete accident, it was in with a pile of allsorts i aquired. It just happens to be a track i have wanted since first hearing it about 15 years ago, on a hippodrome tape i used to have, back to back with UR track Panic.
Pete Faraway - Promised Land - 17-Oct-06 12:36 AM
words just cant do this release justice, whether its house, breaks or just plain music your into this 12" just got to be appreciated. awesome eerie vocal in a northern soul style over some dark killer break beats, the vocals are just clinical to this 12" like i say words cant... female vocal sounds a bit like that ertha kitt woman meets diana ross on some good shit!! kool
