Kanna / So-ki - 恋愛・厨! - 20-Nov-09 08:32 AM
This release isnt too great nor too bad. Some songs are enjoyable, while others, to me at least, really suck. For example, 加奈とKanonで幸福論 is an awesome song, in my head at least, while ギャラクシー”レイク!”エンジェル just sucks. In fact, most Kanna tracks on this release spark my interest, while the So-ki songs just pass the "bearable" listening range. Some people will love this release, some wont, thats really all I can say about it. If you do buy this, with the intent of hearing good music, i.e, if you want gabber, dont expect much. A few tracks do possess gabber qualities, but keep in mind, this release is in no way a full gabber track. In fact, Id say that most of this stuff on this album remind me of game music tracks. I.e, you would find a lot of this stuff on obscure video games. Dont get me wrong, I do enjoy most of the stuff on this release, but it really does sound like something you would find on a video game released around 2002.

Biochip C. - Break It Oldschool (100% Classic Breakbeats) - 04-Nov-09 03:47 PM
This has to be one of the best Biochip C. releases ever. Now, the fact that its on Sharpnelsound is just a nice coincidence. I really do not enjoy some Sharpnelsound releases, but this one keeps the interest. The title is Break It Oldschool, and you will hear some definite old school beats in this. However, while it is supposed to be old school, it has a new feel to it. Its like he brought the past back up and revamped it to fit with his more modern stuff. Either way, this release is awesome. A definite 5/5, or even 10/10 from me. If you can find this release, buy it, you will love it.

Dimmu Borgir - Inn I Evighetens Mørke - 29-Oct-09 11:55 AM
I bought this a long time ago before anyone had even the slightest thought that it would be rare someday, or even sought after. However, I bought it for only one reason and that was because I enjoyed For All Tid. I was pleasantly surprised with this album. The sound quality is very, very good for an upcoming band. For example, on some new vinyls, by new bands that is, you will hear a lot of feedback, and not just from your record player. Depending on where the album was made, produced, recorded etc... depends on what all you hear. This album was produced and mastered very well and I really enjoyed it. Also, this is a great example of black metal. Dimmu Borgir have gone from this playing style to something more of an extreme metal umbrella term now. However, Inn I Evighetens Mørke is beyond great in the terms of true black metal. If you can find a copy, buy it. If you can find it online, grab it. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. It wont be like some of the modern, media frenzied, corporate black metal.

Korn - Twisted Transistor (Unknown Remix) - 20-Oct-09 07:03 AM
For an unknown house remix of a very popular Korn song, I expected this to be a horrible release. I was very pleasantly surprised. This album, while it is not my favorite genre, really gets me moving. The entire album is not a vocal album, however, the vocals are there, but only in small amounts. For example, the first part/half of the album is all instrumental. The vocals are not distorted at all, as in some remixes. The vocals arent even sped up. Overall, I cannot really describe this release too much. It is a really nice song to listen to after a long day. I highly recommend you buy it if you can find it.

T3h Shred Boiz - WTF - 11-Oct-09 09:23 PM
This is one of those albums that many consider a joke. However, while it may look stupid, this release is a great work of music. If you like black metal, or even thrash metal, you really need to download this release. There are no vocals at all, it is completely instrumental. The sound quality is top notch. The guitar work is top notch. Hell, everything about this album is great. I highly recommend this to anyone.
