Reviews & Discussion:
this is a great little record, I have two copys and both have a holes too large to fit the spindle on the platter, so djing with it you have to use a very light hand to keep the needle from skipping. what I love about this record so much is that he dosent stick to the average structure that so many techno/acid/house records follow, IE, 8 bars = change, 8 bars = another change. he just does what sounds right at the right time, sometimes the kick lands on a 2 and sometimes on the 1 but it allways keeps you on edge throughout the whole record.

Im mostly a techno guy, but MR. theo parrish is with no doubt in my mind, my favorite producer...his music keeps you guessing, "whats gonna happen next?"...and when it happens, it doesnt land where you expected it to...and his music is damn fine to dance to, moves your mind and your feet...I love him deeply

"I was no mind" has got to be the darkest, hardest and most danceable track iv'e ever heard. it sounds like im back in the mid-west working in a steel mill on a bad acid trip...but somehow, I just love every second of it. "hippy apocalypse" is an IDM/hip hop track and at moments the beats as mangeled as you can get without losing the MC in the....stuff? anyways, the track encompass' all meanings of the word funk...if you see this record, check it out
