Profile: I have been collecting music for over 35 years in many different genres. It's great to have such august company on Discogs, as this is the best place to buy or sell quality electronica.
Please don't ask me for MP3, wav files or CDR's, I no longer do them because of time and heavy number of requests.

Galerie Stratique - Antihoraire - 03-Oct-09 06:33 PM
"Antohoraire" is a brilliant and esential companion piece to "Faux World", and that is a masterpiece of leftfield IDM. Charles Emile-Beullac has been mining a musical vein all to himself for the past few years which full of interesting combinations of instruments and sound that are dreamy, otherworldly and not to be missed. Its a soundtrack to world that is half real but almost of another dimension. Turn the lights down low and the volume up. Philip K. Dick would approve.
Atomâ„¢ - Muster - 21-Sep-09 04:11 PM
Im a little surprised by the low Discogs ratings for "Muster" as of 9/21/09. Granted, "Muster" is not "Dots" or "Interactive Music" but theres a lot to like here. I think its bleepy, offkilter glitch is almost as good as "Fonosandwich" and "Schnittstelle". This CD is quite musical and its one I will return to in the future. Its also encouraging to see a quality release on Rather Interesting after a long quiet period and I would encourage Atom Heart fans to support him.
Divine Comedy, The - A Short Album About Love - 25-Jul-09 10:48 AM
I guess if I had to choose, "A Short Album About Love" would have to my favorite Neil Hannon album. Its too short, I wish it would "go on, and on, and on". Perhaps this marked a period in his life when he fell in love hard. Its passionately, deliriously romantic, totally over-the-top and thats what makes it feel so heartfelt and moving. The songs are beautifully crafted gems with full orchestral backing, and he always had a way with melody and wry humor anyway. But the main calling card The Divine Comedy is the magnificent voice of Mr. Hannon. In my many years of listening, for me only two singers let it go with such full throated passion - and Neil Hannon is one of them.
Enter The Hunt - For Life. 'Til Death. To Hell. With Love. - 05-Jun-09 06:51 PM
The fulcrum of a great hard rock band has always been the singer. They are always visual center live, and the aural focus on recordings. Without Robert Plant, Jaz Coleman or James Hetfield, would Led Zeppelin, Killing Joke and Metallica ever achieved their legendary status? No way! The front man is always the key to success. Its still too early to tell if Enter The Hunt will get there on the upcoming second album, but this debut from 2006 has the essential element in yet another riveting and passionate performance from ever surprising Krister Linder. He really lets it loose the hounds of hell on "For Life. Til Death. To Hell. With Love", a blistering album from a band that keeps up with its singer. To those who know Kristers sensitive side with Dive in the early 90s and his classic solo debut, "Songs From The Silent Years", ride the wave, and crank the volume way up. Jaws will drop. Enter The Hunt released a new single, "Fighters" in May 2009. It picks up on the best of the first album with much crisper production. Hint: go to the Enter The Hunt website and listen to Linders "Archvillain NYX Rmx", the best remix of 2009 so far.
Kettel - Myam James 2 - 05-Jun-09 05:11 PM
Reimer Eisings second volume of "Myam James" is exquisite, totally enthralling even. He always seems to take electronica to a new place first, and others will soon follow. There are variety of styles at play from 21st century ambient groove on "Kingscourt Imp" followed by lovely acoustic piano on "Shinjuku Inn". The piano goes chiming electric on "Michael Space Airlines" and "Cherie". This album is unabashedly romantic and the combination of violin, piano and programming makes for classical infused electronica of the best kind. Another great release from Sending Orbs.
