Profile: Started all crying back in 1975.. 15 years later he discovered house & techno music which took over his life completely. He soon realized that the music he loved came from city's like Detroit & Chicago. In that time it was hardly possible to find that kind of music in the local record shop's, so he and his friends started to import records on their own. As the interest of the music grew stronger and stronger the plans of a recordstore of their own were soon to be realised. And in 1994 Jimi Disko & his close friend Jeff Bennett opend up the very first recordstore in Malmoe/Sweden called Cosmic One Records, speciallizing only in electronic music. It was an instant success and until this day he has owned numerious record label's such as: Just A Groove Records, Frosty Music, Evil Deception, Azurite, Dubwise to name a few... Organised hundreds of music events, everything from small illegal underground party's to bigger club nights with artist's such as: Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Steve Bug, Rasmus Faber, Josh Wink, Jesper Dahlbäck, Adam Beyer, Joel Mull etc.. In the summer of 1999 he lived in Ibiza, spinning records at Pacha Cafe. Between 2001 & 2003 he lived in Oslo/Norway were he was a resident dj & promoter at the Cube Club. At the moment he's running the record label Just A Groove Records and producing music together with swedish house legend Andreas Bender. As a dj he's resident at Malmoe's hottest house club, Centiliter & Gram. Behind the turntables you can expect a mixture of house with influences from latin, disco, electro and jazz. Sinful, sexy, glamorous and with a very, very phuuunky feel to it!

"Inside Your Soul" is a great vocal detroit track, it's got that great early Blake Baxter feel to it. Very erotic & highly recommended for all true detroit heads!
K. Alexi Shelby* - All For Lee-Sah - 21-Feb-07 10:25 PM
This is one of the greatest old-skool detroit releases ever made! The deepness and groovy feel of "All For Lee-Sah" is absolutely mind blowing, and if you're into old-skool acid "Vertogo" is the one for you. Highly recomended folks!
