Reviews & Discussion:

For fans who like their beats deep, dubby and tribal. This first release from Abyss Records delivers an eerie vibe through thick synth pads and vocoded male vocals. A really funky deepgroover. Also a dub on the flip which is killer, spacey dark beats and slightly percussive.
Psilodump - Tangens Feb 11, 2003
Psychomusic for psychoheads on the dancefloor. Keeping the beats hard, percussion driving and the basslines dark and pounding makes this an awesome, mean dancefloor bomb. Very unexpected and strange sounds used in quite a different way. Samples coming in ocassionally and never again. Wicked. Oommpphh!!
Martin H - Aftersphere Feb 11, 2003
The original is a chunky and driving groove with evil stabs and a high energy feeling. Rumble, Rumble!
Subway Baby gives the treatment in a really deep and housey way. Popular release!!
A side gives us a chunky and funky fatgroove, tough congas and big riffs that makes this track work very well on many dancefloors around. Very sleazy, very filthy, very quirky! The looped voice sample will surely go on in your brain for a while.
The Man-To-Man remix increases the tempo and injects very much hypnotica to this driving floorfiller. Deadly filter-effects and dark stabs.
Homerun - 5 Feb 11, 2003
After the huge sucess with "Native Bullet", Homerun delivers "5". Best described as a pounding slice of progressive house with loads of effects. Really chunky and heavy,
containing female noise samples with Dirtyness written all over it!
The remix on the flip is more of an evil treatment. A punching kickgroove with big sweeps and nice accords. Addictive stuff!
Man-To-Man - Cyclone Feb 11, 2003
Here we have Man-To-Man creating a LARGE Moroder-iesque bassline and a looped up groove in the Original mix. The B-side uses another rolling bass more in the pure techno style. The beats are more punching and the percussions are somewhat more straight and tight.
The first release on Q-records sees Homerun laying down some serious techno/tribal madness with a funky edge. A dubbed out tribal cut oozin´ with effects & funky beats and a killer bass line. The remix by Swedish techno artist Hertz takes the track to another dimension and ends up in techno heaven.
Subway Baby keeps the vibe, funky and dark! Rewind kicks off with a tribal groove using funky stabs before working a dark bassline. "Gotta Stop" is something for the beefier dancefloos, a bassline from hell and vocal samples creating a truly monstrous tribal punch!
