THE DANCE ELECTRIC is one of the coolest dance tracks written and produced by Prince and can be easily compared to stuff like, ‘Erotic City’ or ‘When Doves Cry’! Why he did not use it on one of his own releases remains an absolute mystery to me. The track stands out in its simplicity and effectiveness.

Even Vasquez slick production cant save this record from being boring. RuPaul or Ride Committee feat. Roxy have done this kind of bihatch-house way better. Its save to say that Madonna is easily the best singer on this one here.
