Reviews & Discussion:

This record was way ahead of it's time, just like Bodysnatch's 'Euphony', and LTJ Bukem's '91/'92 workings; paving the way for a more bassline orientated drum & bass / jungle sound of '93/'94. 'The Strength (Mental Rapids)' is the standout tune on this by far and the bassline is an absolute killer! On the flip, 'Eyes on the Horizon' is also a great tune with it's tight production, but 'Revenge of the Punter' is a bit of let down.
Pendulum (3) - Hold Your Colour (Bipolar Vocal Mix) Apr 21, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
This is by far the worst Pendulum release so far. Not sure why they have managed to stumble from their throne after making some of the heaviest tunes of the last couple of years?! Both tracks on this vinyl are pretty dull and lack the excitement that is usually existant in Pendulum tunes. Hopefully this will be a one off experience.
Various - The Global Remix EP Apr 11, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
The Resonant Evil remix of 'Sleepless' is definitely the standout on this ep- worthy of buying the ep just for this! It's an absolutely blinding tune and one of Resonant Evil's best remix efforts. The bassline is an uplifting 'Pendulum' - style affair, along with some quality chopped up breakbeats. The tune is constantly chopping and changing with some nice trancey breakdowns throughout. A good effort!
