Burzum - Umskiptar May 26, 2012 (edited 1 day ago)
I don't want denigrate anyone, but here's all wrong. Everything.
Don't understand how a man who has had so many great records issued "waste" like this.
This gentleman that recorded "Aske", "Filosofem" etc.???
Satyricon - Nemesis Divina May 19, 2012 (edited 8 days ago)
When we evaluate a Norwegian black metal as such, this album is one of the highlights. Sound and ideas "almost" perfect. Won't write more, it must be heard. Excellent thing.
Strapping Young Lad Apr 29, 2012
I mean, how can "man" to cram into one band and its releases so many ideas?? Unbelievable.
Extreme Noise Terror - Phonophobia Apr 21, 2012 (edited about 1 month ago)
If someone want start to listen bands like Doom, Hiatus, Ripcord and others, I say "This record is beginning to you. This one, nothing more or less". Textbook of crustcore. Something like that would never arise. All will be copies.
Regurgitate - Carnivorous Erection Apr 19, 2012 (edited about 1 month ago)
Great job of Soundlab Studios and for Regurgitate huge step forward. From waste, tasteless "mess" to the excellent grindcore with a great (really great) sound with a lots of ideas. Maybe a little too influenced by Swedish death metal, but since it was recorded in Sweden, it can be expected. "Top" record.
And btw.(maybe someone will disagree) artwork is excellent, simply excellent.
Here the words are useless. Respectively in this work are not enough words, you have to hear and "understand".
"Musical setting" of W.Blake's poetry performed by Ulver consider (perhaps strong words) something like a companion film to the collection itself. A brilliant album.
Tiamat - Wildhoney Apr 06, 2012 (edited about 1 month ago)
I won't question the band's influence on musical style as such. I just want to write, this album that I consider not only the summit, but "something". It's not just the music, but "description" a certain time and lives of certain people. Despite the great influence of Pink Floyd is this cd: hundred percent, flawless, perfect.
Pitchshifter Apr 04, 2012 (edited about 1 month ago)
Forgotten band. But it should (in my) quite good influence on the industrial music in England. And as one of the few bands have managed to keep each plate attached bar (thanks to "crisp, sharp" sound and a lot of ideas. Really "a lot").And don't fall in diameter. While on the other hand, better to break up "on top" before recording still the same albums and "fall", as it makes a lot of todays bands.
Anathema - The Silent Enigma Mar 31, 2012 (edited about 1 month ago)
I can't help, but listening to this "masterpiece", I think that each (or someone) band's member at that time girfriend left the board, or in England discounted beer so that all members of Anathema drinking beer instead of water. Hard to find one record that is so "stuffed" emotions. I think too negative, but it depends on point of view. From this album the depression simply "drips". Somewhere there was simply unhappy love or something like that. The song "A Dying Wish" is something that isn't music, but "something", what a person wants to touch.

Highly recommended!!
Cradle Of Filth - Vempire Or Dark Faerytales In Phallustein Mar 04, 2012 (edited about 1 month ago)
If you don't know this band (is someone like that??), and want to start listening them, this piece is the best start. There's all there, what makes the band famous for. Everything.
