Mark Broom - From London With Love Oct 28, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Mark Broom has captured a piece of darm menacing and yet uplifting music in this record. Especially the first track 'Twenty Nine' has it all. It resembles some of Cristian Vogels work like Station 55 - Typewriter of the dead, and that's how i like it. Makes you move and sets a an perfect atmosphere.

Great album that goes with the Bpitch style. It has some very experimental stuff like Tetris that is a bit too much for my taste but the rest is great. Esprecially Dancingbox with its cut-up vocals is very innovative and cool.
End - Science/Fiction Mar 14, 2004
Very good shit indeed. I love it. I had never heard of End but it is one of my favorite break-beat albums now.

One thing that i hope he will change in the future is not to use a sample too much. There is a strange pop like sound in the breaks that gets a bit overused.

But great album.

Echoes and Response are extremely well produced albums. Definately my kind of techno. Hard driving yet deep and soulfull techno. Somehow his style reminds me of Johannes Heil a bit, another one of my favorites.
Also my personal favorite too. His best album so far. Ceramics is too abstract and 'IDM' for my taste, and Clarence Park has too many meaningless short noise tracks. Empty the bones is more my style. Favorites are tracks like Wolf, Holiday as a brutality and Indigo Optimus. Great stuff.
