For me this mash-up mix really doesn't do the trick at all. Like half of the "merged" tracks come out sounding like something made by an amateur (tracks 2,4,5 are OK, but not good). I mean it could be great fun if you had a DJ playing this live at your party, but as something to come back to... Nope, that ain't good.
I think the concept of the album is interesting: Take some hits from very different worlds, mash them up two and two, then mix the whole s**t together. It could work and it has worked before, in this case though it doesn't. On the other hand, I am the only one who hasn't rated it 5/5, maybe it's just me...
