Antonio & Cristiano vs. Snartz - I Sampled Marisa / DJ Tool - 19-Jan-09 03:40 PM
I Sampled Marisa is another great banging jumpstyle production by the SAIFAM team along with "Cristiano" aka Technoboy. The song literally sampled Marisa Tomei from the 1992 comedy film, "My Cousin Vinny", which also starred Joe Pesci and Ralph Macchio aka The Karate Kid. The main part of the sample comes from a hunting discussion and is spoken by the character of Mona Lisa Vito. "Imagine you're a deer. You're prancing along. You get thirsty. You spot a little brook. You put your little deer lips down to the cool, clear water...BAM! A fuckin' bullet rips off part of your head. Your brains are lying on the ground in little bloody pieces. Now I ask ya, would you give a fuck what kind of pants the son-of-a-bitch who shot you was wearing? The main vocal in the track and uses the chopped up vocal "BAM, A fucking bullet" in a repetitive pattern.

DJ Isaac - Irritation EP - 11-Jan-09 06:35 PM
What a hard house record!!! Up to this point, DJ Isaac was well-known and world-famous for his hardcore productions. Around this time, hardcore dropped to about 135-145 bpm and was forming into "Newstyle." This record has solid original tracks throughout, and a Tekno Warriors remix. At the time, American hard house had poor production quality and thus was the cause of its downfall. The music did not evolve as music should. It was become stale. This sound brought the European production twist on American hard house. Face Down, Ass Up, the B-side track on this record. still crushes dance floors whenever played. Face Down, Ass Up is what helped propel DJ Isaac from Hardcore to Hard House and later Hardstyle to Jumpstyle.

DJ Massiv vs. The Rebel - Darkness - 10-Jan-09 11:17 PM
What a wicked jumpstyle tune for 2004. They cleverly used samples of Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnell conversing from the blockbuster American film, 'Scent of a Woman.' The track contains some really deep hard kick drums and a massive breakdown. Sadly, the layout of the track is a bit long and repetitive. It could have been cut down and just focused more in the middle with the movie samples and the melody. In my opinion, that would be the only real negative comment about the song. It made it tough to play because the party kids would become bored. Mix fast or use an edited version on the CDJs.

Technoboy - Into Deep - 29-Jul-08 12:09 AM
Once again, what a massive Hardstyle / Hard Trance / Jumpstyle influenced record by the SAIFAM team originally released on Titanic Record 034 from Italy...This special German release gives a few more remixes with the typical German hard trance / hands up sound. Of course it is written by a group of producers in Italy and given the Technoboy name but this is such a great track regardless of whose name is on it. Every time I play this one the crowd goes insane. The floor is always pounding when the track drops with such a powerful yet simple melody! Thumbs up, what a Titanic track!!!

Showtek - FTS - 06-Jun-08 06:06 PM
This track was a massive dancefloor hit all over the world. A1 is the more club mix, which gained popularity. Every time a DJ plays this, fans all over the dancefloor can relate. The kick is hard and the melody is simple yet effective. The vocals are insane as well. No idea who the MC was. No credit was given. I still play this one year after its official release date and it still makes the kids move. Props to Showtek for making a Hardstyle anthem!
